Oregon Trails

We passed over the Golden Gate coming from San Fran to Redding
The last few days we have been in Oregon, Grants Pass and Portland. We have been hanging out with Matthew Combe's family and friends. We had an evening of fellowship, worship, repentance and deliverance one night in Grants Pass. It was amazing!

Yesterday we visited Reed College, a very prestigious college that is very liberal in thought and value. We wanted to go there to pray over the campus, which is a bit risky to begin with considering you can visit by invitation only. Matt's brother was invited last year and we def felt the Holy Spirit's invitation, so we jumped on the occasion. We started out walking and praying and were led to the library where we read aloud, Colossians 2 and 3 which speaks warning against the doctrines of man. God showed us that His word stands forever, far greater and longer than any manuscript could ever exist with power, so we know that by simply proclaiming some of The Word that the place was impacted. Next we strolled passed posters of nude women to the Student Life building by the coffee shop. Kelly stepped out to pray for a girl that was appreciative.

Then I felt God nudging me to break through the oppressive atmosphere with some out of the box, prophetic, goofy acts. I started towards a small children's ridable fish that had a hamburger head and proceded to ride it like a kindergarden cowboy, followed by break dancing and cart wheels mixed with jazz hands and a couple of original moves. Call me crazy, because I am!!! I will forever be a fool for Jesus. (hopefully I'll have some video footage for you of this soon) Next, Kelly took a bold step out and approached a girl that she had overheard the girl she had prayed for earlier exclaiming that she had never been prayed for before. Sorry if that last sentence didn't make sense? Another girl said she had never been prayed for. Kelly asked her if she wanted prayer and her response created a scene as she loudly exclaimed so her friends could hear, "So how does this prayer thing work, I just ask for whatever i want and tomorrow I get it, hahahha?" As Kelly politely spoke to her about prayer, all of her friends began to scoff and point and laugh. Kelly kindly persisted to expound on the easiness of prayer, though the girl obviously just wanted to turn Kelly into a public spectacle. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for their's is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things against you. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for so they persecuted the prophets who came before you", the words of Jesus ran through my head. They are blessing us right now! We knew our time there was done and we shook the dust off of our feet and walked away as they literally pointed there fingers and laughed! I laughed as well as I knew we were being blessed by their laughter. We know Kelly's words will be a topic of conversation for them and that they will have to recall the memory of us being there throughout their lives!

That evening, we got to play some of the songs we have all written at a coffee shop close by and release some of our flavor! It was a fun time! Zion ended with, "Jesus Loves Me"!

Crazy Times Of Burning Up California!

Our Crew in front of the Beast!
Matt Combe gets his first taste of the Beast!
Our last day in California. It's been a crazy ride! We started out in San Jose and stayed with an amazing family. We prayed for a few days to begin our journey. We also had a bunch of coffee donated to us, yay! We found a lady to pray for who had all sorts of stomach problems, and we believe she is healed and pulled out of depression as well. Matt Urspringer and I drove up to Portland, Oregon from San Jose, a 12 hour drive one way and 12 hour drive back, which turned into 36 hours awake and on the road. We then made our way down to central Cali, taking a little Easter break before we had 20 people show up at the place where we were staying, a small apartment, for spontaneous prayer for healing and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Also we went to the UCLA Hospital and prayed for a girl with brain problems. Kelly, one of the girls with us, had a vision where God spoke to her and said that because her brother had died from brain damage, He was giving her authority over brain problems and access to the room in Heaven where new brains were stored for her to give to people that she prayed for with brain problems. Our crew prayed and wept over Jessica, a 14 yr old and she asked, as the crew was praying if we were humans; we think she might have seen more than us there! A few days later after the doc was worried that she wouldn't make it, she was released from the hospital  Her and her mother are incredibly grateful, though Jessica has no memory of us except lots of hands layed on her and a cross necklace surrendered by Kelly! After that prayer time, we went and led worship for a college group at Harvest Rock, Che Ahn and Kenny Peavey's church in Pasadena. God broke through that time and rocked all of us there!!!

Living Room Worship!

Hippie Hill Madness
We then started to make our way north again back up through Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo, and Arroyo Grande, CA. We had another evening of worship and sharing in San Luis Obispo, which turned into a night of impartation of faith. Further north, we journeyed into the heart of San Francisco to do a bit of homeless, hippie ministry on hippie hill in Golden Gate Park. As soon as we got off the bus a homeless man asked us if we had any "coins from Heaven". As God had previously directed, I quoted the scripture, "Silver and gold, I have not, but what I do have I give to you", and proceded to pray for him. He was so grateful and loving! Might possibly have been one of those entertaining angels situations? Wow, what a crazy place! We worshipped and declared the love of God from the hill and ran into many demons along the way. San Francisco!

Resting In Redding!
From there, we rested with good friends and good food in Redding, CA while being filled up at Bethel Church. Ahhh, Bill Johnson spoke about dreaming this morning, a pretty significant theme to our journey so far, it all feels like a dream!

Our Vision And Mission

We are nothing but a bunch of simple children learning to obey the leading of our Father, seeking after His heart and hoping to reveal it to a world that is longing for something more-- a love they have only dreamed of or long forgotten.
God began stirring the same vision in some of our hearts. It didn’t matter how we got there as long as we were following the Spirit to see God's love brought to His children anywhere and everywhere He led. We've since turned into a team of 6 musicians with a call to be a Jehu generation, riding a flaming chariot across the land, igniting burning hearts, releasing furious love, and sweeping across the nation to see God's army awakened, to rise and become the generation He has set them apart to be.
God is focusing more and more hearts back to our very own nation, to restore her ancient ruins, rebuild her foundations, re-dig her wells, and call the Bride of America to burn again with her first love. The Bride is waiting to hear the voice of her husband say, "You are bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh." Jesus is waiting for His Bride to believe it.
We are called to sound the trumpet, go to the top of a mountain and proclaim, "Here is your God!  Here is your God!  Put your fingers in the holes of His hands; place your hand in His side. He is real! He is Alive! He is Risen!”
We worship the Lord through music, dancing, and singing, and praise and proclaim truth; We are praying and believing the Spirit of the Living God is going to come so intensely that no one will be able to deny that He really is alive, He really did die, and He is drawing His beloved to Himself to come taste and see that He is good.
When the tour has ended, we and all that we come across will look back and say, just as the men on the Road to Emmaus said, "Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us on the road?" He will be walking alongside every step of the way.
Many will meet Him for the first time, and many will be reignited to the desire in their own hearts for Him, because one glance of His face will ruin them for anything less.

Last Days Before Journey Home

Some of our crew worshiping on the mountain tops!
Kisses from both sides!
Well, it's our last few days in Hawaii. So, this week will be bitter-sweet. We are saying our goodbyes to all of the amazing people we have been able to work alongside the last six months. We had been training with the School of Worship at Youth With A Mission's main training campus, the University of the Nations, in Kona, Hawaii. But, we are truly excited to be embarking on the next phase of life, a tour from California through the Northwest, Midwest and ending back home in Nashville. We are calling this, "The Burning Heart Tour"! God has been speaking a lot to us about this trek. We will be riding a wave of revival driven by worship, unclogging the arteries of the heart of America, while awakening the Bride and releasing the dance of David again in the land! That last sentence is a lot to unpack I realize.
Right now we are praying-in an RV to travel in, record songs in, and live life in, on the road. Our prayer is, "God, release the beast!" Right now we have stops planned up and down the coast of Cali, two stops in Oregon, maybe a couple stops in Washngton(one for sure), a stop or two in Montana, a couple stops in Wyoming, and then on to Colorado where Annie and Zion will fly home. I (Michael) will continue on with our crew of 2 single males and 1 single female through South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and finally home to Nashvegas! Wheeew! We will try to post as we move from place to place, so this will be, to be continued...
